Annual Reports

2022 Summary:

Thanks to all of you for helping us have a successful 2022. Whether you donated, developed a new route, or retro-bolted an old one, you helped our community continue to improve the conditions of fixed protection and climbing in the Bow Valley.

2022 also marked a sad moment for our community; as our founder and original president, Jon Jones, passed away. His impact on the climbing community was immense and long lasting, and he will be missed by many.

Many projects were funded in 2022 comprising 124 pitches of rock climbing (72 new and 52 refurbishments), and one access to the top of a cliff (Cowbell Crag). To read up on the details of where those pitches are, what we’ve been up to this year, and more, check out our 2022 Annual Report.
