October 14 & 15, 2016 - TABVAR Fund Raiser at Reel Rock in Canmore
Arts Place in Canmore is screening Reel Rock 11 on at 1900 Friday, October 14 and Saturday, October 15 and is donating the proceeds (including the profit from drink sales!) to TABVAR! Come out for some radical footage and a chance to support your sport.

The Association of Bow Valley Rock Climbers (TABVAR) is a-not-for profit organization, funded by donations, whose purpose is to promote the responsible development of safe rock climbing areas serving the Calgary, Canmore, Banff and Lake Louise climbing communities.

TABVAR provides funds for:

  • Environmental projects such as erosion protection measures at the base of cliffs and trails.
  • Repair and refurbishment of existing routes.
  • Fixed anchors on routes.


Since its inception in 1993, TABVAR has raised and disbursed more than $85,000 plus over $15,000 in contributed materials.
